Application:
- Define the lip with a lip liner and use a lip pencil to apply the lipstick.

I bought this lipstick a few months ago and can now say that it really is good! I love the color, though it is a little different in real life - I would say a true fuchsia with hints of pink and red. It is very flattering and smells fresh/fruity! I love that there are no toxic ingredients in Inika products and this is my sixth lipstick from this brand. That saysit all.

I love this lipstick! It smells fruity and the shade flushed is a nice, summer metallic pink! I wear it everyday and it goes well with sun-kissed skin! The durability is ok, I need to reapply after eating and drinking of course but the shimmer does stay on! I will definitely rebuy!

Frosty look + different colours

With the exception of two matte shades (I think there are only two?), all of Inika's lipsticks have a very frosty sheen to them. If you like that look, you will be very happy with these lipsticks, but if you are not a fan of the frosty look, you will not be (sadly I am in the latter group, because frosty lipsticks do not suit me one bit).
They do feel great on the lips, are very moisturising and long-lasting, they do not smudge in any way and are certainly quality lipsticks.. except for the frosty sheen and the colours, argr. The colours are VERY different to what is shown here and on Inika's website. For one thing, NONE of the shades is actually red, in any sense of the word. The videos on YouTube with swatches are misleading, because a cheap camera changes the colours.
After Dark - a very intense brick orange colour, matte, does look good with tanned skin for summer evenings
Auburn Ambition - pretty much the same shade as After Dark, but with a frosty finish, does look good with tanned skin for summer evenings
Dark Cherry - dark plum with a very frosty finish, not a cherry shade
Orchid Fields - plummy pink with a very frosty finish
So, if you like various pink, (brick) orange, golden, nude, plummy shades with a (very) frosty finish, these are the lipsticks for you, but bear in mind that these are not red lipsticks by any chance.
