Thymus Serpyllum Extract, Thymus Serpyllum Oil
Thymus, also more commonly known as wild thyme is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is native to Europe, North Africa and North America. It has antiseptic, disinfectant and anti-inflammatory effect and is well-suited for the treatment of wounds and discomfort of the gums. Children, expectant mothers and those prone to epileptic seizures should not use this oil.
In aromatherapy, it is used to alleviate depression.
