Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Flower/leaf, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Extract
Thyme from the family Lamiaceae is an aromatic, fragrant, evergreen dwarf shrub that is native to the Mediterranean. It improves circulation, and is antimicrobial, antiviral, antibacterial and has especially strong antifungal properties. It owes its anti-inflammatory effect mainly the thymol contained in its essential oil as well as the strongly anti-infectious agent carvacrol. Thyme is best suited for the care of oily blemished skin and inflamed skin.
