Abies Balsamea (Balsam Canada) Needle Oil, Balsam fir
This tree, also known as balsam fir, comes from the family of Pinaceae and is mainly native to North America. Its oil is obtained from the steam distillation of the needles and sprouts. Applied externally, the balsam fir supports the healing of wounds, burns, and haemorrhoids. It has antiseptic and expectorant properties. In aromatherapy, its scent is calming and invigorating.
