Scio is derived from the Latin word "scire" and means to know, have an understanding of, to be capable of. The main ingredient used is peat obtained around Bad Aibling in Germany. It has been recognised for many years for its special positive properties. Precious as a habitat for certain animals and plants, peat nourishes the skin and is particularly gentle as well as versatile in use.
