The cream contains ginger and smells very strongly of it - not suitable for the face in my opinion, especially anywhere near the eyes. However, I do have sensitive skin and I'm fragrance sensitive, so that influences my experience. I bought this cream to use under Avril's own foundation, and they don't work together. Avril's foundation is very moisturising on its own, and using this underneath made my face look greasy - even if I have dry skin. I used the cream on my hands instead. Would not buy again.
