Plantain
Plantago Lanceolata (Plantigin) Leaf Extact, Plantago Lanceolata (Plantain) Leaf Extract
This plant is mainly native to the cool temperate zones of Europe, North Asia and Central Asia, but is now cultivated in many other countries and exported all over the world. It is mainly used to promote wound healing, as it accelerates blood coagulation, although it is also used to soothe insect bites. Its tannins have astringent properties, while it also has a soothing effect of treating inflammation of the skin. The plantain is very well tolerated and is therefore also suitable for the care of sensitive and blemished skin.
