CCF Certified Natural Cosmetics

"Choose Cruelty Free" (CCF) is an independent non-profit organization that examines and distinguishes non-violent companies.

The criteria for the award of the label are as follows:

• No animal should be killed for the production of an ingredient.
• No ingredient should be obtained violently (ie pain or malaise) from an animal.
• No ingredient should be taken from any wild animal.
• No by-products of the fur industry or the slaughtering industry may be used. (If the animal was killed for any purpose other than for cosmetics production.)
• The manufacturing companies and none of it related companies may use ingredients (applies to all products), which itself or through representatives or any other parties were tested on animals. This also applies to the time at least 5 years before the date of the application for accreditation.
