Neroli, the white flowers of the orange are processed for this sweet-smelling oil. It is highly emollient and has antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It also is odour-neutralizing and regenerative and stimulates cell renewal.
In aromatherapy neroli oil acts as an aphrodisiac, is strong in mitigating depression and is mentally relaxing. It helps with anxiety, pain and mental exhaustion, nervousness and test anxiety, and also helps combat insomnia and despair. This oil strengthens the aura and is "balm for the soul."
