Description

Katam is a plant powder dye that is suitable for creating violet tones on darker hair colours. It is similar to indigo in that it creates darker tones. Katam can be blended with henna in small amounts, to achieve violet highlights. When used on its own to creates an intensive but natural-looking auburn shade. 

Application: 

  • Mix the desired amount of powder with warm water to form a uniform paste. 
  • Leave to rest for 10 - 15 minutes and apply to clean hair for root to ends. 
  • Leave on for 1 - 2 hours and rinse with water or a mild shampoo. 

Note: 

  • Do not use on light, natural blonde hair or bleached hair.
