Immortelle
Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Helichrysum Italicum Flower Extract
The Immortelle flower or straw flower from the sunflower family is native mainly to the Mediterranean. In skin care, it has astringent, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It is anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal and is suitable for the treatment of acne, eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and inflamed skin. It not only soothes wounded skin and burns but also prevents scarring. Immortelle can also be used for vein problems and muscle pain and nourishes the skin after sunbathing. However, it should not be used pure.
In aromatherapy, immortelle is considered stimulating, grounding and tonic, and promotes cheerful dreams and meditative states.
