Description
Hyaluronic acid is found as a natural part of the dermal connective tissue. It may be produced biotechnologically from bacterial cultures (lactic acid). The high molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid means that its large molecules create an instant effect on the skin.
Incorporated in the water phase or in the finished product. Must be dissolved in water before it can be used.

Hi Rachel! Yes, it is a powder that should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place such as a cupboard. The powder should not be stored in the fridge, as this could cause the powder to become moist. The amount of water to be added is calculated according to the dosage recommendation e.g. 50 ml of cream requires 0.01 - 0.30% of 50 ml of powder to be calculated and added. The use of a toner is not required, however, could be used to prep the skin for subsequent care which may support the effectiveness of the Hyaluronic Acid.
