Description
This product preps the skin for subsequent care using the Glycolica skincare products by Alkemilla. The fruit acids obtained from lemons, mango, sunflowers and almonds soothe the skin and supply moisture which makes this cosmetic product ideal for all skin types.
Application:
- Pre treatment: Treat the affected areas with the toner and proceed with the intensive care products from the Glycolica range as indicated.
- Toner: Apply to the skin after cleansing - has astringent and sebum-regulating effects.

Ok, so I start by saying I have a weird skin, majority of it is normal but my cheeks for some reason get spots the moment I even look at a sugary food and also heat or a minimum of stress make my cheeks go bright red, just that particular area where I get spots.
I have a very pale skin too so all you can see of me is these red pimples and inflammation in contrast with moon white skin.
I bought this actually thinking I'd be able to use it as an every day toner sort of thing ( without the rest of the treatment ) but it turned out to be a bit too sticky on the skin if applied with a cotton disk and wasn't really doing much. I Did not like the effect that way so I cut a few pieces pieces of tissue paper and drenched them in this before sticking it to my face and leaving it for a few minutes. Not too long, it's still very strong. I then removed the paper and rinsed my face and my face was absolutely on fire. Burning feeling and red like a pepper, I knew this would happen, the skin gets used to it with time. What I wasn't expecting is the result. After 10-15 minutes when my skin calmed down, I kid you not, all the pimples and spots I had were so much lighter, as if they had been bleached.
My face is actually almost all the same tone, super soft skin, pores are much smaller and even my permenent nose-blackheads seem either lighter or smaller! Absolutely awesome!
If you don't like this product try using it differently! Worth the effort. I'll continue using this.
