Review written by Nikki
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Been using this for a number of years. I'm blonde with blue eyes. I use 02 most of the time and 04 when I've got a tan. Feels lovely and light. I always get compliments on my skin. I'm 54.

I've got atopic skin with prone to rosacea. This foundation doesn't irritate my skin, helps keep moisture, and correct imperfections quite nice.

Light coverage but it makes skin look wonderful
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
My skin has never looked better than after using Dr. Hauschka's foundation. It has light coverage so I moved on to another product but now I regret it. I'm definitely purchasing it again. I decided that I'd rather have a flawless complexion with this light coverage foundation than cloggled pores and pimples with medium to full coverage foundation.

One of my eco favourites
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
I have a light, oily skin with a lot of pimples but this foundation unifies my skintone perfectly and is quite covering. I apply with my foundation brush, after applying some hydrating cream. Do not apply it with a makeup sponge as it's not that easy to blend out.
It is vegan, cruelty-free and has clean ingredients. I think it's worth its price, however, after a few hours this foundation becomes SUPER OILY. Don't forget to bring your powder or some mattifying spray otherwise you're gonna look like a piece of salmon. Was this review helpful? (2) (0)

Good ingredients - NOT buildable
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I tried so hard to like this foundation, but it doesn't work for me. This is my first natural foundation, after switching from conventional make-up. I have shade Almond (02) which is a god match for a fair to medium skin tone. I have mixed feelings about this product, here is why:
POSITIVE aspects:
- Natural ingredients that don't harm the skin, I feel no 'burns' or dryness like most of the conventional foundations do to my skin
- Coverage is light to medium and gives you a glowing finish, but not too oily.
-Lasts around 8-10 hours
- Good color match
NEGATIVE aspects:
- This product doesn't BLEND - you have to work a lot and very fast, otherwise it will sit on the dry patches and will leave your skin a 'dirty', muddy feeling
- You CAN'T use any tool to apply this, just your fingers. I personally hate using my fingers to apply makeup as it takes too much time and I don't have precision. So, the beauty sponge, foundation brush or buffing brush DON'T work with this foundation. It does more harm and you have to waste a lot of time blending with your fingers.
- When you first apply it you can't see the color on the skin, because for some reason it melts and 'dissapears'. So you are not sure if you should build up more, or leave it as it is. After a half an hour you can see the color and the texture on the face which has a satin/dewy finish to it, which it looks pretty good. And you give the foundation one more chance, but you move the next defect
- After two-three hours it oxides and becomes orange and then frustration comes back again
- It sits on the driest spots on the face and you look like you haven't washed your face for a week
- You have to hydrate your face very well before applying - but not too greasy or too much prep oil, because the product will separate and you will spend around 15 minutes trying to blend it (hence the frustration)
- It started to fade out around my mouth and nose - so another dirty effect on my face :)
For this price and all the above negative aspects, I will NOT repurchase this foundation ever!
