Description

This buffered glycolic acid is highly concentrated. It is one of the most popular and effective AHA's that is used for regenerative cosmetic applications. Valued for its exfoliating, smoothing, refining and regenerative properties that are beneficial when it comes to anti-aging care, clogged pores, scars or blemished and acne-prone skin.

Glycolic acid is found in fruit, beetroot and cane sugar, preferably used in its buffered form as opposed to its pure, unbuffered version. "Buffered" means that the pH value of the acid is regulated making it less aggressive and safe to use as skincare.

Application:

  • Use 2 - 3 drops undiluted as a skincare product or apply directly to spots, sagging skin and/or scars.
  • When used as a booster, mix 2 drops with a day or night cream.
  • Use a high sun protection factor during the day. Do not expose the skin to intensive sunlight for long periods of time.
  • It is advised not to use glycolic acid in combination with VITAMIN Vitamin C 2% or PURIFY Zinc + Niacinamide. These can, however, be used in rotation.
  • Glycolic acid should preferably be used at night.
