Natural & Fair Period Care by einhorn

The brand was founded by Waldemar Zeiler and Philip Siefer via a crowdfunding platform in 2010. The aim was to make the world a better place with pretty everyday products - starting with vegan condoms. Customers support fair working conditions and the preservation of biodiversity relating to natural rubber plantations in Malaysia with each product purchased.

Fairness, sustainability and transparency are the brand's top priorities. einhorn's fairstanability vision is to keep the CO2 footprint of their entire production chain as low as possible whilst improving all the processes thereof - all this is done in a transparent manner. This includes improving the conditions of humans and environmental impact while reinvesting 50% of the profits back into environmental and social projects.

The next big goal was to remove taboos around period care: after receiving quite a large number of comments on Facebook regarding the subject, it became clear that it needed to be focused on. Furthermore, period care products are largely manufactured using viscose and plastic - another reason why a change had to be made. So, the brand started to produce period care products that are skin-friendly, environmentally friendly and fairly manufactured.
